Harsha has an experience of over ~16 years in the legal profession and has acquired vast experience in the space of real estate law.

Harsha specialises in large commercial and residential real estate transactions across India and advises leading domestic and international developers, real estate funds etc. Harsha is solution oriented and his legal expertise ranges from rendering key legal analysis in structuring transactions, undertaking comprehensive diligence across India, strong negotiation skills and drafting contracts.

Harsha’s sectoral expertise was brought to the fore when Harsha was involved in the real estate workstream of India’s largest commercial real estate transaction for the year 2020-2021, leading the deal team recently in Asia’s largest GCC leasing transaction in Mumbai, leading largest land transaction in terms of deal and size in southern part of India. In addition to real estate transactions involving conveyancing, built to suit projects, complex leasing transactions, structuring joint development arrangements of commercial and residential projects, Harsha has the ability to seamlessly integrate in cross team matters and has acted for clients involving financing of real estate and acquisition of large assets across India.

• Brookfield Asset Management’s acquisition of 12.5 million square feet of commercial assets from RMZ Corp.
• CPPIB’s Acquisition of CBD IT/ITes Asset in Bengaluru jointly owned by Prestige and RMZ through its JV.
• Asia’s largest REIT – Embassy REIT for Blackstone, Embassy and certain third parties.
• Acted for Blackstone in its acquisition of various IT/ITes Assets / Techparks across India.
• Acted for J. P. Morgan in its leasing of approximately 1.1 million square feet (built-to-suit) premises in Bengaluru by Embassy group.
• Asia’s largest GCC leasing transaction in Mumbai.
• Acted for the purchaser in an acquisition of largest land in terms of deal and size in southern part of India
