Ramanuj Kumar

Ramanuj is a Partner at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, New Delhi in the Project Finance and Infrastructure Projects Practice. He has over 20 years of experience in the projects, infrastructure & energy sectors having worked for the sponsors/developers, lenders, investors and contractors.

During his career, he has also worked with International Finance Corporation (IFC) and at Clifford Chance in London.

Advised CG Semi Private Limited, a subsidiary of CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd., on the fiscal support agreement with the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM), and the joint venture with Renesas Electronics and Stars Microelectronics to set up an ATMP/ OSAT facility in India.
Advising SicSem Private Limited, on the fiscal support agreement with the ISM and other project documentation for setting up an integrated facility of Silicon Carbide (SiC) based Compound Semiconductors in Info Valley, Odisha.
Advised CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited on its acquisition of Radio Frequency (RF) front-end and RapidIO components business of Renesas Electronics America Inc. and other affiliates of Renesas Electronics Corporation.
Advising Tata Semiconductor Manufacturing Pvt Ltd. on bid advisory and entire contracting arrangement for augmentation and modernisation of Semiconductor Laboratory (SCL) at Mohali, India, an automnomous orgnaisation under the MEITY, Government of India.
Advising Adani Group on contracting for multiple data centre projects across India.
Advising Adani Energy Solutions on multiple captive and open access power projects to provide round the clock power solutions to commercial & industrial consumers across India.
Advised AM Green Ammonia (India) Pvt Ltd. on drafting and negotiating detailed term sheet and offtake agreement for India’s largest export contract for green ammonia with Uniper Group, and term sheet with two other potential offtakers for supply of green ammonia to international markets.
Advised Sembcorp Green Hydrogen India Private Limited on its (50:50) joint venture with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited to jointly pursue opportunities in green hydrogen (including its derivatives) through a newly incorporated SPV.
Advised JSW Energy Limited on contracts for supply, erection and commissioning of BTG and balance of plant package for proposed thermal power plant at Salboni, West Bengal
Advising GMR Energy Ltd on contracts for supply, erection and commissioning of BTG and balance of plant package for expansion of thermal power plant at Kamalanga, Odisha.
Advising GMR Energy Ltd. on hydro power project development in Nepal and Bhutan including drafting and negotiation of investment agreement and power purchase contracts with counterparties in Nepal and Bhutan.
Advised Welspun New Energy Limited on supply of wind turbine generators (WTGs) for a 200 MW wind power plant.
Advising Hinduja Renewable Energy Private Limited on contracts for supply, erection and commissioning of WTGs by GE.
Advised Connective Industrial and Logistics Parks Private Limited, a unit of Welspun One Logistics Park, on drafting and finalisation of contracts for appointment of general contractor, template contract for appointment of nominated subcontractors and other ancillary documents for setting up logistics park in Maharashtra.
Advised Three Eight Six Development DMCC, a UAE based company for standardising their EPC contract and power offtake contract for setting up solar power plants in Middle East countries.
Advised Adani Energy Solutions Limited on a master agreement for setting up district cooling solutions for a multi-purpose large scale project in Hyderabad.
Advised Amplus KN Solar Private Limited on drafting, reviewing and negotiation of EPC and O&M Contracts for a 100 MW solar power project located in the State of Karnataka.
Advising Adani New Industries Limited on agreements for supply of battery energy storage systems from a number of overseas suppliers.
Advised Tata Realty and Infrastructure Limited in drafting and negotiation of an EPC Contract with Larsen & Toubro Limited for construction of a 120 kms highway project in Karnataka.
Advised The Indian Film Combine Private Limited in drafting and negotiation of a FIDIC based construction contract with Shapoorji & Pallonji Company Private Limited and an alliance model construction contract with Leighton India Contractors Private Limited and various subcontracts for development of a retail mall, two five star hotels and entertainment complex at Maker Maxity, Bandra-Kurla Complex, Mumbai.
Advised Larsen & Toubro Limited as a contractor/subcontractor/joint venture partner to Westinghouse Electric Company for setting up a 6000 MW (6x 1000 MW) greenfield nuclear power plant at Gujarat/Andhra Pradesh in India.
Advised Bharat Oman Refinery Limited in relation to negotiation of a contract with UOP India Private Limited (a subsidiary of Honeywell Inc.) for supply and installation of modular PENEX units at Bina Petroleum Refinery in India.
Advised Larsen & Toubro Limited in drafting and negotiation of supply and service contracts with various telecom equipment vendors in connection with the tender floated by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited for installation of a dedicated & secure telecommunication network for defence forces in India.
Advised Hancock Coal Pvt. Ltd. (a GVK Group Company) in drafting and negotiation of EPC Contract for its coal handling and preparation plant in Queensland, Australia.
