His practice includes a diverse array of civil, corporate and commercial disputes across multiple sectors. These include matters relating to commercial contracts, joint ventures, shareholder disputes, infrastructure and construction contracts, financing transactions, writ actions against state authorities, commodity disputes, employment, intellectual property rights and corporate insolvency.

He regularly appears before courts and tribunals in India.

• Represented an Indian national sports authority in international arbitration proceedings, seated in London, initiated against it by a foreign sports authority to claim damages for an alleged breach of contract involving conduct of an international tournament.
• Represented a Spanish infrastructure company in several international commercial arbitrations emanating from contracts for setting up electricity distribution infrastructure in various districts in Maharashtra, against one of India’s largest power distribution companies.
• Representing one of India’s leading engineering conglomerates in several ad-hoc arbitration proceedings arising out of purchase and supply contracts pertaining to power transformers.
• Representing a trustee company and asset management company of a mutual fund in suit proceedings initiated against them before the Calcutta High Court by an investor claiming damages for alleged loss of investment owing to alleged negligence and breach of duty of care.
• Representing a public listed company in the consumer electrical industry in commercial intellectual property suit proceedings before the Bombay High Court, involving allegations of trademark infringement and passing off.
• Advised India’s leading financial services conglomerate in a shareholder dispute, arising out of complaints and representations made by the minority shareholder to various regulatory and governmental authorities.
• Advising and representing a leading and listed power generation, transmission and distribution company in labour disputes before the Labour Commissioner, Industrial Court and Bombay High Court.
• Represented one of India’s leading non-banking financial companies in corporate insolvency proceedings against construction and real estate companies before the National Company Law Tribunal, Mumbai.
